London-based shredders Swedish Death Candy are known for blowing people's minds with their blisteringly tight live show. Sounding a lot like the UK's answer to Californian garage-rock heroes Wand in their early days, 'Broken Engrams' is destined to be a mosh pit starter with its thundering drums, trippy vocals and huge-sounding guitars. Just when you think it's all over after an absolute face-melter of a solo, 'Broken Engrams' takes a sludgy turn lowering the pace to a 70s Black Sabbath-esque interval before a quick sprint to the finish line. Their self-titled debut album comes out on the 17th November via Hassle Records. -HLMX
